Namari, which apparently means “lead” in Japanese, is actually a combination of Nat and Marie. It was technically born a few days before Christmas, however it didn’t officially open until January 14th, 2011, 2 weeks later than it should have. It is run by Nat Marie, powered by WordPress, a plethora of plugins, iced coffee, endless cussing at failed coding and sarcastic remarks. I am currently hosted on A Small Orange.
Namari is a hybrid lifestyle/author blog where I talk about my life (sometimes) and talk about my writing journey and share some tips and the like with fellow aspiring writers. I am by no means an expert, however being that writing has been part of my life for several years, I like to share both the good and the ugly of it all. My mission, essentially, is to help others unleash their awesome through their words.
The current main project is called Marzipan. It was a novel that I started for NaNo a couple of years ago and it’s still in progress. Way…in progress. Baby steps though! I have other projects that I may work on in between, along with blogging here and other places, so if I do disappear for a bit, don’t panic.
